A New Challenge for Christian Homeschooling Famlies

About us

Shu Suzuki became a Christian in 1979 through the ministry of Rev. Richard P. Chase, an American evangelist. Rev. Chase discipled him in English with the King James Bible. While he was learning the Bible, Shu acquired communication skills in Englsh. Later, Shu became a disciple of Rev. Timothy Pietsch, the founder of Tokyo Bible Church. Rev. Pietsch strongly encouraged Shu to homeschool his children, even when he was still a single, young man. (Rev. Pietsch was an old friend of Rev. Kevin Swanson.)

Shu and his wife Chieko are now homeschooling their three children. They at first homeschooled them in Japanese, because the Japanese language was their mother tongue. But they found that there was a greater possibility in homeschooling them in Englsh, so they switched the academic language of their homeschooling from Japanese to English. The fact that Shu learned the Bible in English was the foundation for this decision.

They have been homeschooling their children for more than 17 years. Since they want to share the blessing of homeschooling with other homeschooling families, they have established this website since 2006.
