The Mission Statement of Paideia Network

The Mission Statement of Paideia Network

We believe that the Lord has entrusted to us the special task of contributing to His Kingdom, as shown below;

1) Encouraging homeschoolers to have a vision in the Lord

2) Helping Japanese homeschooling families to equip their children with English skills, so that they can afford good methods for Christian education and be connected to the worldwide Christian community.

3) Establishing a strong relationship between Japanese-speaking homeschoolers and English-speaking homeschoolers The goal of Paideia Network is to become an "America-Japan Homeschooling Co-op Network."

The Computer Engineer of the Suzuki Family

I totally owe the construction of this website to my son Ray.   In 1995, we purchased a computer for the first time in the history of the Suzuki Family.   At that time Ray was 5 years old.  He made the computer crash many times.  He experienced a tremendous amount of trials and errors.  I gave him lots of books about computers, programming, etc.   He learned those skills by himself.   What I did was set a goal for him, and have him learn what he needed to achieve the goal, even though I was quite a stranger to computer technology.  He does lots of research on the internet about the computer technology.  Though I am a stranger to computer technology, I still know the goals and objectives of his work.  The making this website is  a sort of "on the job training" for him.  I now act as his customer or client.

Without a vision, we cannot do anything, not even make a website.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."
Proverbs 29:18
